The government is trying to increase the income of the farmers-CM

Chief Minister Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat inaugurated the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Kisaan Kalyaan Yojna, organized by the Cooperative Department at GIC Ground in Sitarganj on Saturday. While addressing the public, the Chief Minister said that the state government is working on the interests of the farmers in order to increase the resources of the livelihoods. Farmers are being provided loans at lower interest rate. Rs 1 lakh loan at the interest rate of 2 percent is being provided to the small and marginal farmers under Deendayal Upadhyaya Kisaan Kalyaan Yojna.  He appealed to all farmers to take advantage of this scheme to increase their income. He said that government is also considering on linking women self-help groups with this scheme. Sitarganj sugar mill has been given in PPP mode in the interest of the farmers. There will be some problems in the beginning but later it will have good results.

The CM said that state government is committed to provide better health facilities to the public. Doctors will be arranged in hospitals in next 3 months. Directions have also been given to appoint 700 Nurses. 27 lakh families would be benefitted from health insurance policy in one year’s tenure. He said that the Transfer Act has been enforced by the state government to bring transparency in transfers.
