कोविड उपचार में 20 प्रतिशत अधिक कारगर है यह थैरेपी
अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान, एम्स ऋषिकेश में अब ’एंटीबाॅडी काॅकटेल थैरेपी’ से भी कोविड मरीजों का उपचार शुरू कर दिया गया है। यह एक जीवन रक्षक दवा है और इस प्रक्रिया से मरीज का इलाज करने में मात्र एक घंटे का समय लगता है।
एम्स निदेशक पद्मश्री प्रोफेसर रवि कांत जी ने इस बाबत बताया कि बाजार में इस वायल की कीमत करीब 60 हजार रुपए है, लेकिन एम्स में कोविड मरीजों को यह दवा उपलब्धता के आधार पर दी रही है। यह दो दवाओं का मिश्रण है।
निदेशक प्रोफेसर रवि कांत जी ने बताया कि यह काॅकटेल, कोरोना वायरस को मानव शरीर की कोशिकाओं में प्रवेश करने से रोकता है।
संस्थान में कोविड के नोडल अधिकारी डाॅ. पी.के. पण्डा जी ने बताया कि यह वायल 12 साल से अधिक उम्र के ऐसे कोविड पाॅजिटिव मरीजों को दी जा सकती है, जिनका वजन 40 किलोग्राम से अधिक हो। हाईरिस्क वाले ऐसे कोविड पाॅजिटिव मरीज जो किडनी, लीवर रोग, ब्लड कैंसर, दमा या श्वास संबंधी रोग से ग्रसित हैं,
फेमिली एवं कम्युनिटी मेडिसिन विभाग के असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर डाॅ. योगेश बहुरूपी जी ने बताया कि कैसिरिविमैब और इमडेविमैब दो एंटीबाॅडी को मिलाकर बनाई गई एंटीबाॅडी काॅकटेल वायल हाई रिस्क वाले कोविड मरीजों के इलाज में बहुत ही उपयोगी है।
संस्थान के जनरल मेडिसिन विभाग के असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर डाॅ. मुकेश बैरवा जी ने बताया कि रिकवरी ट्रायल के अनुसार, एंटीबॉडी कॉकटेल से किया गया इलाज, कोविड के सामान्य उपचार की तुलना में 20 प्रतिशत बेहतर होता है।

Such covid positive patients with high risk who are suffering from kidney, liver disease, blood cancer, asthma or respiratory disease,
Assistant Professor, Department of Family and Community Medicine, Dr. Yogesh Bahurupi Ji said that the Antibody Cocktail Vial made by combining two antibodies casirivimab and imdavimab is very useful in the treatment of high risk covid patients.
Assistant Professor, Department of General Medicine, Dr. Mukesh Bairwa said that according to the recovery trial, the treatment done with antibody cocktail is 20 percent better than the normal treatment of Kovid.
