मीर जाफर की बंगाल के नवाब के रूप में 1763 को दोबारा ताजपोशी हुई।
महाराजा रणजीत सिंह ने 1799 में लाहौर पर कब्जा किया।
नाजियों ने 1941 में यूरोपीय देश लिथुआनिया में पांच हजार यहूदियों को मौत के घाट उतारा।

‘भारतीय जनता पार्टी’ के नेता राघवजी का जन्म 1934 में हुआ।
प्रसिद्ध भारतीय क्रिकेटर महेन्द्र सिंह धोनी का जन्म 1981 में हुआ।
प्रसिद्ध साहित्यकार चन्द्रधर शर्मा गुलेरी का जन्म 1883 में हुआ।
रणधीर सिंह का जन्म 1878 में हुआ वो प्रसिद्ध सिख नेता और क्रांतिकारी थे।
प्रसिद्ध संगीतकार अनिल बिस्वास का जन्म 1914 में हुआ।
अनेक शोध-निबंध स्तरीय भारतीय एवं विदेशी शोध-पत्रिकाओं में प्रकाशित अशोक कुमार सिंह का जन्म 1959 में हुआ।

उर्दू भाषा के प्रसिद्ध लेखक व शायर अब्दुल क़ावी देसनावी का निधन 2011 में हुआ।
इज़राइल के द्वितीय प्रधानमन्त्री मोशे शॅरेड का निधन 1965 में हुआ।
भारतीय सैनिक विक्रम बत्रा का निधन 1999 में हुआ।
हिंदी और रूसी साहित्‍य के आधुनिक सेतु निर्माताओं में से एक मदन लाल मधु का निधन 2014 में हुआ।

In Russia, 140 people died in 2012 in severe floods. Kala Venkatrao, a prominent political activist of South India, was born in 1900. Raghavji, the leader of the ‘Bharatiya Janata Party’, was born in 1934. Famous Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born in 1981. Famous litterateur Chandradhar Sharma Guleri was born in 1883. Randhir Singh born in 1878 was a famous Sikh leader and revolutionary. Famous musician Anil Biswas was born in 1914. Ashok Kumar Singh was born in 1959, published in many dissertation-level Indian and foreign research journals. Died on 7th July – Abdul Qawi Desnavi, a famous Urdu language writer and poet, passed away in 2011. Israel’s second prime minister, Moshe Sharad, died in 1965. Indian soldier Vikram Batra died in 1999. Madan Lal Madhu, one of the modern bridge builders of Hindi and Russian literature, passed away in 2014
