Uttarakhand Tharali by-poll in designated time.

 Secretary and Chief Electoral Officer, Saujanya has informed that as per the directives issued by Election Commission of India, in wake of the for Tharali (05) by-poll 2018 in Chamoli district, organizing exit poll, publishing or broadcasting its result through print or electronic media or using any means to spread the same is completely banned on the polling day that is May 28 from 7 am to 6.30 pm under Representation of the People Act-1951, under section 126 (A), sub section (1).  

Secretary and Chief Electoral Officer, Saujanya has informed that as per the guidelines mentioned in section 126 (1) (B) of the Act, opinion poll, or result of

any poll including exhibiting through electronic media is completely banned till designated 48 hour culminates with the end of polling.
