Umbrella Act soon to regulate private universities: Dr. Dhan Singh
Uttarakhand Higher Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has said that an Umbrella Act will be brought which would regulate private universities. He said that It will prevent private universities from charging fee arbitrarily. Dr Dhan Singh Rawat was talking to media persons at media centre at secretariat on Monday.
He said that private medical colleges are being served notices to know that how they increased the fee violating rules. He further said that provision are being made in the proposed Umbrella Act to regulate private universities as per the rules and regulations of the state government.
