Government’s sericulture boost to promote empowerment of women and weaker sections of society
Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Modi has approved the “Integrated Scheme for Development of Silk Industry”. With an allocation of Rs. 2161.68 crore, this move is slated to increase silk production and help increase productive employment.

Ministers and Senior Dignitaries attending Informal WTO Ministerial Meeting call on PM
