Under the Chairmanship of Secretary Vigilance Department Mr. Nitesh Jha to ensure compliance with relevant provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, a meeting was held with the representatives of the Central Investigating Agencies (ED, CBI, Income Tax Department and Intelligence Bureau) and State Investigating Agencies (Vigilance Bureau, CBCID, Intelligence/Security (LIU) and STF) and discussions were held to exchange mutual information in cases related to corruption and it was agreed upon to nominate Nodal Officer from each investigating agency. In this regard, for the review of progress in the cases relating to prevention of corruption, it was agreed upon to convene a meeting for discussions every month under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Vigilance.
