M Karunanidhi body buried!

The last journey started from the Rajaji Hall to Marina Beach of the late Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi Parthiv body. This trip involves people in large numbers.

 Earlier, the state government had not allowed the body of Karunanidhi to be buried on Marina Beach, after which the DMK had approached the court and finally the court ruled in favor of the DMK. After this decision, security was increased on Marina Beach. There, the preparations for the burial of Karunanidhi were completed. A big pit has been dug through the crane to bury Karunanidhi here.
