CM Rawat instructs to repair damaged roads within one month in the state!

 Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has instructed Chief Engineer of PWD department to ensure completion of repair works of damaged roads in the state within a month. He further instructed that the repair works of damaged roads in Dehradun should be completed within next seven days. He said that no laxity and negligence will be tolerated in the construction and repair work of roads.   
Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat also asked the officials of the national highways to get the damaged Haridwar- Dehradun and Dehradun to Roorkee highways repaired on war footing. Chief Minister also instructed the Chief Engineer of PWD department to regularly monitor the road repair/construction works of National Highways and present the report daily to the Secretary concerned of the state administration with a copy to Chief Minister’s office. He said that Chief Engineer will himself ensure on the spot inspection of repair works of the damaged roads. The Chief Minister said that he himself will keep an eye on the development and negligence will not be exempted.  
Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat regretted the inconvenience caused to the general public due to damaged roads following heavy rains. He said that instructions to repair the roads have been given and roads will be repaired within one month in the state.
