Chief  Minister said to doubling farmers’ income!

Integrated Cooperative Development Project to be important in doubling farmers’ income.
Integrated Cooperative Development Project will prove to be important in doubling the income of farmers. This will benefit 50,000 farmers of the state and will strengthen the rural economy. Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat said in a press conference that with the support of National Cooperative Development Corporation, the Integrated Cooperative Development Project worth Rs. 3632 crores is being brought to the state. In the scheme funded by NCDC, 80 per cent will be in the form of a loan and and 20 per cent in the form of grant. It will also focus on co-ordination in corporate and corporate.
Chief Minister was having formal talks with the media at Media Center, Secretariat on Thursday. He said that to strengthen the rural economy, the State Co-operative Development project will be launched in the state soon with the support of National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC). With the support of National Cooperative Development Corporation, the State Government is bringing Integrated Cooperative Development Project worth Rs. 3632 crores in the state.
Chief Minister said that this project will prove to be important in fulfilling the target of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, to double the income of the farmers by 2022. Cooperative, agriculture, horticulture, fishery, dairy and related departments will play an important role in making this project successful. This project will benefit 50,000 farmers of the state. The project will open from avenue from cooperative to corporate and vice versa. Project Directorate will be made for this project.
This programme will be assisted by funding by the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) under the ICDP scheme, where 80 per cent wull be in the form of loan and 20 per cent will be in the form of grant. This programme will be run in three phases. In the first phase, multi-purpose cooperative societies and district level and top bodies, agriculture, horticulture, herbs, silk, aromatic plants etc through cooperative group farming, large-scale production, transport, marketing, milk development, animal husbandry and fish farming have been included.
