Bageshwar food poisoning incident: CM Rawat seeks report from District Magistrate

Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has sought a report about the Bageshwar food poisoning incident from the Bageshwar District Magistrate. He has issued directions for ensuring proper treatment of the sick people. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, seriously ill persons have been taken in a helicopter and admitted to Haldwani for treatment. Expert physicians have also been sent. Chief Minister has also instructed the Commissioner Kumaon to be in touch with the Bageshwar District Magistrate. Chief Minister said that every sort of assistance will be provided to the people, who fell ill because of food poisoning. DM Bageshwar said that the sick people are being provided free treatment in government and private hospitals of Bageshwar. Notably, many people fell sick of food poisoning after having food in a marriage in Bageshwar.
