दारा शिकोह को 1659 में औरंगजेब द्वारा फाँसी दी गयी।
विलियम पेन इंग्लैंड से रवाना हुए और बाद में 1682 को उन्होंने अमेरिका में पेनसिल्वेनिया कॉलोनी की स्थापना की।
जनरल बेनेडिक्ट अर्नोल्ड ने 1780 को वेस्ट प्वाइंट फोर्ट में ब्रिटिश सेना के सामने आत्मसमर्पण करने का वादा किया।
ऑस्ट्रेलिया के मेलबर्न शहर की स्थापना 1836 में की गई।

हिन्दी साहित्यकार जी.पी. श्रीवास्तव का निधन 1976 को हुआ था।
प्रख्यात उद्योगपति कृष्ण कुमार बिड़ला का निधन 2008 को हुआ था।
प्रसिद्ध इतिहासकार बिपिन चन्द्र का निधन 2014 को हुआ था।
