मुख्यमंत्री अमरिंदर सिंह सीमाओं पर अतिरिक्त सतर्कता बरतने पर जोर देते हुए कहा कि अफगानिस्तान (पर तालिबान का कब्जा होना भारत के लिए शुभ संकेत नहीं है.

चंडीगढ़. पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री अमरिंदर सिंह) ने देश की सभी सीमाओं पर अतिरिक्त सतर्कता बरतने पर जोर देते हुए रविवार को कहा कि अफगानिस्तान पर तालिबान (Taliban) का कब्जा होना भारत के लिए शुभ संकेत नहीं है. कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता ने ट्वीट किया, ‘अफगानिस्तान का तालिबान के हाथों में जाना हमारे देश के लिए शुभ संकेत नहीं है. यह भारत के खिलाफ चीन-पाकिस्तान सांठगांठ को मजूबत करेगा (चीन पहले ही उयगुर को लेकर मिलिशिया की मदद मांग चुका है). संकेत बिलकुल अच्छे नहीं हैं, हमें अब अपनी सीमाओं पर अतिरिक्त सजग रहने की जरुरत है.’

अफगानिस्तान की राजधानी काबुल में तालिबान के प्रवेश करने के बीच भारत वहां से अपने सैकड़ों अधिकारियों और नागरिकों को सुरक्षित निकाल रहा है. इस बीच, अफगानिस्तान के राष्ट्रपति अशरफ गनी भी रविवार को देश छोड़कर चले गए. अफगानिस्तान के तुलू न्यूज की खबर के अनुसार, देश के ज्यादातर महत्वपूर्ण शहरों और प्रांतीय राजधानियों पर कब्जा करने के बाद तालिबान के काबुल में प्रवेश करने पर गनी और उनके करीबी सहयोगियों ने देश छोड़ दिया है.

उधर, अल-जजीरा न्यूज नेटवर्क पर प्रसारित वीडियो फुटेज के अनुसार यहां अफगानिस्तान के राष्ट्रपति भवन पर तालिबान लड़ाकों का कब्जा हो गया है. फुटेज में तालिबान लड़ाकों का एक बड़ा समूह राजधानी काबुल में स्थित राष्ट्रपति भवन के भीतर नजर आ रहा है. तालिबान द्वारा अफगानिस्तान पर अपने कब्जे की घोषणा राष्ट्रपति भवन से करने और देश को फिर से ‘इस्लामिक अमीरात ऑफ अफगानिस्तान’ का नाम देने की उम्मीद है.

Chief Minister Amarinder Singh stressed on taking extra vigil on the borders and said that Taliban occupation of Afghanistan is not a good sign for India.

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Sunday stressed the need for extra vigil on all borders of the country, saying the Taliban’s occupation of Afghanistan is not a good sign for India. The senior Congress leader tweeted, ‘Afghanistan’s passing into the hands of Taliban is not a good sign for our country. This will strengthen the China-Pakistan nexus against India (China has already sought the help of the militia regarding the Uygurs). Signs are not good at all, we need to be extra careful on our limits now.

India is evacuating hundreds of its officers and civilians from the Afghan capital Kabul amid the entry of the Taliban. Meanwhile, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani also left the country on Sunday. Ghani and his close aides left the country when the Taliban entered Kabul after capturing most of the country’s important cities and provincial capitals, Afghanistan’s Tulu News reported.

On the other hand, according to video footage broadcast on Al-Jazeera news network, Taliban fighters have captured the Afghan Presidential Palace here. In the footage, a large group of Taliban fighters are seen inside the Rashtrapati Bhavan in the capital Kabul. The Taliban are expected to announce their occupation of Afghanistan from Rashtrapati Bhavan and re-name the country as the ‘Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’.
