नई दिल्ली: कोरोना वायरस के खिलाफ जंग में टीकों (Vaccine) की उपलब्धता बढ़ाने और देश में टीकाकरण (Vaccination) की गति तेज करने के लिए केंद्र सरकार ने बड़ा कदम उठाया है. इसके तहत सरकार ने अन्य देशों में आपात इस्तेमाल के लिए अधिकृत विदेश निर्मित कोविड-19 (COVID-19) टीकों को मंजूरी देने की प्रक्रिया तेज कर दी है.
विदेशों टीकों के आपात इस्तेमाल को मंजूरी
एक विशेषज्ञ पैनल ने सिफारिश की थी कि उन टीकों को भारत में आपात इस्तेमाल के लिए मंजूरी दी जा सकती है, जो विदेशों में विकसित किए गए या तैयार किए गए हैं और जिन्हें अमेरिका, यूरोप, ब्रिटेन या जापान में प्राधिकारियों ने सीमित आपात इस्तेमाल को मंजूरी दी है या जो ‘डब्ल्यूएचओ आपात इस्तेमाल सूची’ में शामिल हैं.

New Delhi: The Union Government has taken a big step to increase the availability of vaccines (Vaccine) in the war against Corona virus and to speed up the vaccination in the country. Under this, the government has expedited the process of approving authorized foreign manufactured COVID-19 (COVID-19) vaccines for emergency use in other countries.
Approval of emergency use of foreign vaccines
An expert panel recommended that vaccines that were developed or manufactured abroad be approved for emergency use in India, and which were approved by authorities in the US, Europe, UK or Japan for limited emergency use. Approved or which are included in the ‘WHO Emergency Use List’.
