UPDATE: SHARJEEL IMAM SURRENDERS TO DELHI POLICE

Statement from Sharjeel’s lawyers: Notice under S160 CrPC was issued for Sharjeel Imaam on 27.01.2020 by the Crime Branch, Delhi Police.
Sharjeel has surrendered to Delhi Police at 3pm on 28.01.2020. He will be brought to Delhi for production before the magistrate. He has full faith in the legal system and is fully cooperating with the investigation.
