फ्रांस ने भारत में उत्पादित कोविड-19 के टीके एस्ट्राजेनेका (भारत में कोविशील्ड नाम से) की खुराक लेने वाले अंतरराष्ट्रीय यात्रियों को देश में आने की अनुमति दे दी है.

पेरिस. फ्रांस ने भारत में उत्पादित कोविड-19 के टीके एस्ट्राजेनेका (भारत में कोविशील्ड नाम से) की खुराक लेने वाले अंतरराष्ट्रीय यात्रियों को देश में आने की अनुमति दे दी है. यह फैसला रविवार से प्रभावी होगा. प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा शनिवार को जारी बयान के मुताबिक इसके साथ ही फ्रांस ने कोरोना वायरस के डेल्टा प्रकार के संक्रमण को रोकने और अस्पतालों को दबाव से बचाने के लिए सीमा पर जांच और कड़ी कर दी है.

फ्रांस ने भारत के सीरम इंस्टीट्यूट द्वारा उत्पादित एस्ट्राजेनेका टीका लगवाने वालों को देश में आने की अनुमति यूरोपीय संघ द्वारा केवल यूरोप में उत्पादित एस्ट्राजेनेका टीके को मान्यता देने पर हुई आलोचना के बाद दी है. कई यूरोपीय देश पहले ही भारत में निर्मित एस्ट्राजेनेका टीके को मान्यता दे चुके हैं, जिनका बड़े पैमाने पर ब्रिटेन और अफ्रीका में इस्तेमाल हो रहा है. प्रत्येक देश में अलग-अलग नियम होने की वजह से इस साल गर्मी की छुट्टियों में यात्रा करना और जटिल हो गया है.

फ्रांस ने अबतक चीन या रूसी टीकों को मान्यता नहीं दी है. यूरोपीय संघ के औषधि नियामक ने अबतक फाइजर/बायोएनटेक, मॉडर्ना, जॉनसन ऐंड जॉनसन और एस्ट्राजेनेका के टीके को अधिकृत किया है.

Paris. France has allowed international travelers to enter the country taking doses of the Kovid-19 vaccine AstraZeneca (known as Covishield in India) produced in India. This decision will be effective from Sunday. Traveling during the summer holidays has become more complicated this year due to different rules in each country.

France has not yet recognized Chinese or Russian vaccines. The EU drug regulator has so far authorized vaccines for Pfizer/BioNtech, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca.
