पीड़ित ने पुलिस को दिए बयान में कहा कि कुछ रोज पहले किसी ने उसकी पराली को आग लगा दी थी. जिसके बाद वह अपने रिश्तेदार से पराली लेकर आया था. अब उसकी भैंसों की पराली में किसी ने जहर मिला दिया.

चंडीगढ़. इंसानियत का स्तर इस कदर गिरने लगा है कि आपसी रंजिश में अपने दुश्मन को नुकसान पहुंचाने के लिए वह किसी भी हद से गुजर जाता है. कुछ ऐसा ही मामला जालंधर के गांव शकरपुर में आया, जहां पर एक गुज्जर से रंजिश के चलते उसकी भैंसों को चारे के लिए दी गई पराली में किसी ने जहर मिला दिया. पराली को खाते ही भैसों की हालत बिगड़ गई और करीब एक डेढ़ घंटे में सात भैंसों ने दम तोड़ दिया. कुछ भैंसे बीमार पड़ गई हैं, जिनका वैटनरी डॉक्टर इलाज कर रहे हैं. गुज्जर की शिकायत पर पुलिस ने अज्ञात लोगों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर लिया है. भैंसों का पोस्टमार्ट करने के बाद सैंपल फोरेंजिक लैब में भे दिए गए हैं.

गांव शकरपुर में रहने वाले भैंसों के मालिक बारा हुसैन ने बताया कि उसका दूध का कारोबार है और उसने करीब तीन दर्जन भैंसों का पाल रखा है. हुसैन ने बताया कि वह उस वक्त हैरत में पड़ गया जब बीते दिन उसकी एक भैंस जमीन पर गिरने के बाद तड़पने लगी. देखते देखते भैंस की मौत हो गई.

पुलिस को दिए बयान में उन्‍होंने कहा कि कुछ रोज पहले किसी ने उसकी पराली को आग लगा दी थी. जिसके बाद वह अपने रिश्तेदार से पराली लेकर आया था. अब उसकी भैंसों की पराली में किसी ने जहर मिला दिया. पुलिस मामले में एनिमल क्रुएलिटी एक्ट के कार्रवाई कर रही है. पुलिस को प्रारंभिक जांच में मामला किसी आपसी रंजिश का प्रतीत हो रहा है. पुलिस आरोपियों को ट्रेस करने में जुटी है. पशुपालन विभाग के सीनियर वेटरनरी अफसर डॉ. गुरदीप सिंह ने कहा कि भैंसों का पोस्टमार्टम कराया गया है. 18 सैंपल जांच के लिए खरड़ स्थित फोरेंसिक लैब भेजे गए हैं.

The victim said in a statement to the police that a few days ago someone had set her stubble on fire. After which he had brought stubble from his relative. Now someone mixed poison in the straw of his buffaloes.

Chandigarh. The level of humanity has started falling so much that in mutual rivalry, he goes to any extent to harm his enemy. A similar case came up in Shakarpur village of Jalandhar, where due to enmity with a Gujjar, someone mixed poison in the straw given to his buffaloes for fodder. The condition of the buffaloes deteriorated as soon as they ate the stubble and in about one and a half hours seven buffaloes died. Some buffaloes have fallen ill, which are being treated by veterinary doctors. On the complaint of Gujjar, the police have registered a case against unknown people. After post-marting the buffaloes, samples have also been given to the forensic lab.

Bara Hussain, the owner of buffaloes living in village Shakarpur, told that he has a milk business and has kept about three dozen buffaloes. Hussain told that he was surprised when one of his buffaloes started suffering after falling on the ground the previous day. Seeing the buffalo died.

In the preliminary investigation to the police, the matter seems to be of some mutual enmity. Police is busy in tracing the accused. Senior Veterinary Officer of Animal Husbandry Department Dr. Gurdeep Singh said that the post-mortem of buffaloes has been done. 18 samples have been sent to the forensic lab at Kharar for examination.
