The Union Cabinet has approved an Ordinance, in which there is a provision for the execution of the convicts for misbehavior with girls below 12 years of age. After the central government’s decision, Swati Maliwal has decided to break the fast.
Swati, who is on hunger strike at Rajghat for the past 10 days, told his supporters, “The Prime Minister listened to our demands and the country. That’s why I have decided to end my fast. ‘ He said, “I am thankful to the Prime Minister for bringing this ordinance. I congratulate the people of this country for this victory.
