लुई पंचम डी लुए 979 में फ्रांस के सम्राट बने।
इंग्लैंड ने 1557 में फ्रांस के खिलाफ युद्ध की घोषणा की।
यहूदियों ने 1655 को रोम के खिलाफ बगावत की।
औरंगजेब ने 1658 में आगरे के क़िले पर क़ब्ज़ा किया।

मशहूर पटकथा लेखक, नाट्य निर्देशक, कवि और अभिनेता हबीब तनवीर का निधन 2009 में हुआ।
