नई दिल्ली: उच्चतम न्यायालय ने आंध्र प्रदेश से कहा कि वह 12वीं कक्षा की बोर्ड परीक्षाएं कराने के लिए राज्य द्वारा सुझाए एहतियाती कदमों से आश्वस्त नहीं है और जब तक वह इस बात से संतुष्ट नहीं होता कि कोविड-19 के कारण किसी की मौत नहीं होगी तब तक परीक्षाएं कराने की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी. न्यायालय ने कहा कि वह कई अन्य राज्यों की तरह किसी की मौत होने के मामले में मुआवजे के पहलू पर भी विचार कर सकता है. कई राज्य कोविड-19 के कारण होने वाली मौत के लिए एक करोड़ रुपये देते हैं.
आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार से सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पूछे कड़े सवाल
न्यायमूर्ति ए एम खानविलकर और न्यायमूर्ति दिनेश माहेश्वरी की विशेष पीठ ने राज्य के स्थायी वकील महफूज ए नज्की से परीक्षा कराने की वजह बताते हुए ‘फाइल का स्नैपशॉट’ न्यायालय में पेश करने को कहा. पीठ ने 12वीं कक्षा की बोर्ड परीक्षाएं कराने के आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार के फैसले पर उससे कड़े सवाल किए. पीठ ने कहा, ‘हम उन एहतियाती कदमों से संतुष्ट नहीं हैं जो आप परीक्षाएं कराते वक्त उठाएंगे. आपने जो व्यवस्था दी है हम उससे आश्वस्त नहीं हैं. जब तक हम संतुष्ट नहीं होते कि आप बिना किसी के हताहत हुए परीक्षाएं कराने में सक्षम हैं तब तक हम आपको परीक्षाएं कराने की अनुमति नहीं देंगे.’

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has told Andhra Pradesh that it is not convinced by the precautionary measures suggested by the state to conduct class 12 board exams until it is satisfied that no one will die due to COVID-19. Till then the examinations will not be allowed to be conducted. The court said that like many other states, it can also consider the aspect of compensation in case of death. Many states give one crore rupees for the death due to Kovid-19.
Supreme Court asked tough questions to Andhra Pradesh government
A special bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar and Dinesh Maheshwari asked state standing counsel Mahfouz A Najki to produce in the court a ‘snapshot of the file’, explaining the reason for conducting the examination. The bench asked him tough questions on the Andhra Pradesh government’s decision to conduct class 12 board examinations. “We are not satisfied with the precautionary steps that you will take while conducting the examinations,” the bench said. We are not convinced by the arrangement you have given. We will not allow you to conduct the examinations until we are satisfied that you are capable of conducting the examinations without any casualties.’
