Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goyal on Wednesday targeted Deputy Chief Minister (Anil Baijal) on the strike of IAS officers and supported the demands of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other Ministers sitting on the dais in the office of the Deputy Governor on Monday evening.
Instructions to the Badgeal IAS officers to finish the ‘strike’, take action against those officers who have ‘blocked’ the work for four months.
Ram Niwas Goyal in a letter sent to Baijal on Tuesday said that for the last few months the work of development of Delhi has been affected and it is a “conspiracy” to eliminate the unauthorized strike of officials. The President said that when the IAS officers were asked in the meetings of the assembly councils that why they are not joining the ministers’ meetings, they said, “We are not going to attend these meetings because of the IAS decision.
The letter further said, “Is it not a strike? Do you (LG) do not think that it is an attack on the interests of the people of Delhi? Do not you think that this is an insult to the public. The only reason behind this is that the IAS officers Strike.
