The Chief Secretary said that this year the number of pilgrims and tourists has increased. It is said that in the coming time, Badrinath Dham is expected to reach the record number of passengers per annum on completion of the work of the Allweder Road and Rail Project. Tourism Secretary Dilip Javalkar said that the number of tourists reaching the Dham has increased steadily due to good helicopter connectivity in the state. In addition, if the road facilities develop, the number of tourists will increase significantly in the future. He said that in the next 15-20 years, good facilities can be provided to the tourists, according to which the Town is being planned.
The Chief Secretary and Tourism Secretary also visited the last village Mana and took information from the officials about the proposed work. During this, the Chief Secretary said that an effort will be made to run a concrete plan from the government level to further the famous handicrafts of the village.
