DDN_45 countries part to participate in international Ganga Kayak festival in

What: Ahead of the adventure tourism summit to be held next month, a Ganga Kayak festival has started in Uttarakhand. The eighth edition of the Ganga Kayak Festival being organized under the joint aegis of Uttarakhand Tourism Development Council and The Adventure Sports Society at Devprayag. The festival is witnessing participation from 45 countries including India, Russia, Australia and Nepal among others. It is being contested by six male and six female athletes. These events are being organised as the state government starts work to develop a separate department for adventure tourism.
