मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर अपने जीएमएस रोड स्थित भागीरथीपुरम आवास पर वृक्षारोपण किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने इस अवसर पर जामुन का पेड़ लगाया।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर घोषणा की है कि राज्य में स्थित समस्त गांवों एवं गांवों के आस-पास के क्षेत्र में स्थित तालाबों/जल निकायों, जो राजस्व अभिलेखों में दर्ज हैं, उन सब का अगले 01 वर्ष में पुनर्जीवन किया जायेगा तथा वित्तीय वर्ष 2022-23 में जलवायु परिवर्ततन सम्बन्धी कार्यों को मुख्यधारा में लाने हेतु राज्य में क्लाईमेंट बजटिंग प्रारम्भ किया जायेगा।
मुख्यमंत्री ने प्रदेशवासियों से अपील की कि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति एक -एक वृक्षारोपण कर पर्यावरण के संरक्षण में अपना महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दें। पर्यावरण की सुरक्षा आम आदमी के जीवन से जुड़ा विषय है। पर्यावरण का संरक्षण हम सबकी सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि इस वर्ष विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस की थीम पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र की बहाली है।इकोसिस्टम रेस्टोरेशन के तहत पेड़ लगाकर एवं पर्यावरण की रक्षा कर हमें प्रदूषण के बढ़ते स्तर को कम करने और इकोसिस्टम पर बढ़ते दबाव को कम करने की दिशा में विशेष ध्यान देना होगा।

Chief Minister Shri Tirath Singh Rawat has announced on the occasion of World Environment Day that all the ponds/water bodies located in the area around the villages and villages located in the state, which are recorded in the revenue records, will be completed in the next one year. Revitalization will be done and in the financial year 2022-23, climate budgeting will be started in the state to bring climate change related works in the mainstream.
The Chief Minister appealed to the people of the state that every person should make an important contribution in the protection of the environment by planting one tree each. The Chief Minister said that this year the theme of World Environment Day is restoration of ecosystem. By planting trees and protecting the environment, we should pay special attention towards reducing the increasing level of pollution and reducing the increasing pressure on the ecosystem. Will happen.
