BJP’s increased Congress revenues lapse.

On one hand, while BJP is continuously hoisting saffron grasses in the country, there is a lot of money in the party’s accounts. At the same time the Congress is bad. While the Congress is losing its existing seats, its treasury is also continuously empty. The income of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has increased by 81.18% between 2015-16 and 2016-17 to Rs 1,034.27 crores, while in the same period, the Congress’s revenue fell by 14% to Rs 225.36 crores.
These figures were released by the Democratic Reforms Association (ADR). According to the ADR report, the total declared income of seven national parties – BJP, Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Marxist Communist Party (CPI-M), Communist Party of India (CPI) and Trinamool Congress – Rs 1,559.17 crore While these parties spent Rs. 1,228.26 crores. The report prepared based on the filing details in the Election Commission compares the total income of the BJP and Congress, their expenditure and source of income.
