एम्स में उपलब्ध है नशे के आदी मरीजों का समुचित उपचार एम्स,ऋषिकेश ने किया आगाह,अनधिकृत नशामुक्ति केंद्रों में इलाज कराने से बचें मरीज प्रेस विज्ञप्ति नशे की बीमारी ने समाज में आज लगभग सभी को अपनी गिरफ्त में ले लिया है। बढ़ता तनाव, शहरीकरण, बेरोजगारी, युवाओं में जोखिम लेने वाले व्यवहार का बढ़ना, घरेलू कारण अथवा साथियों का दबाव ऐसे बहुत से कारण इस सबकी मुख्य वजह हो सकते हैं। मगर यहां यह स्पष्ट करना जरुरी है कि नशा करते रहना एक प्रवृत्ति नहीं बल्कि एक बायोलॉजिकल ब्रेन डिसऑर्डर है।

उत्तराखंड राज्य में सबसे अधिक किए जाने वाले नशों में शराब, कैनाबिस (गांजा, भांग आदि) अथवा ओपियाइड्स का नशा मुख्य है। नशे का समग्र उपचार मरीज को नशा मुक्ति केंद्रों में दाखिल कर या अस्पताल की ओपीडी के स्तर पर किया जाता है।
निदेशक एम्स ऋषिकेश पद्मश्री प्रोफेसर डॉ रवि कांत जी ने बताया कि एम्स में MOSJ&E के सहयोग से तथा NDDTC, एम्स, दिल्ली की निगरानी में एडिक्शन ट्रीटमेंट फैसिलिटी (ATF) संचालित की जा रही है, जो नशे के रोगियों का उच्चस्तरीय इलाज निशुल्क प्रदान कर रही है।
संस्थान के मनोरोग चिकित्सा विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. रवि गुप्ता जी ने बताया है कि एम्स ऋषिकेश में इन रोगियों का इलाज पूरी तरह से मानवीय पहलुओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए किया जाता है। क्योंकि नशे की बीमारी दिमाग़ में बदलाव के कारण होती है इसलिए दवाओं के बिना इलाज पूरा नहीं हो पाता है.

मनोरोग विभाग के एडिशनल प्रोफेसर व (एटीएफ) के नोडल ऑफिसर डॉ. विशाल धीमान जी ने बताया कि नशे की बीमारी एक मानसिक रोग है, मेंटल हेल्थकेयर एक्ट ( MHCA) 2017, के अनुरूप हर नशा मुक्ति केंद्र को ‘मेंटल हेल्थ establishment’ ( MHE) के तौर पर रजिस्टर होना अनिवार्य है, जहां इस कानून के अनुरूप मरीज को पंजीकृत किया जाएगा।

Is. Dr. Ravi Gupta, Head of the Department of Psychiatry of the Institute has told that in AIIMS Rishikesh, these patients are treated completely keeping in mind the human aspects. Because the disease of addiction is due to changes in the brain, so the treatment is not complete without medicines. Dr. Vishal Dhiman, Additional Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Nodal Officer (ATF) said that drug addiction is a mental disease, as per the Mental Healthcare Act (MHCA) 2017, every drug de-addiction center has been designated as a ‘Mental Health Establishment’ (MHE). ) where the patient will be registered in accordance with this law.
