Actor Rajpal Yadav sentenced to 6 months.

Comedian Rajpal Yadav has been sentenced to a 6-month jail term by a Delhi court in connection with a check bounce case. However, after the sentence was pronounced, the court granted him instant bail. Court has given bail to Rajpal on personal money of three and a half lakh rupees. The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 11 crore on the check bounced. Rajpal is accused of not paying them for borrowing Rs.5 crore from a company for a film. Rajpal Yadav said that he will file an appeal in this high court against this decision.

According to the information, Delhi’s Karkardooma court sentenced this to seven cases of check bounce against Rajpal Yadav, his wife Radha Yadav and his company. Rajpal’s total 7 checks were bounced, the court directed to pay a compensation of Rs 1.6 crore per check. In this way, Rajpal and his company have been imposed a fine of Rs 11.2 crore.

In the case of check bounce, the hearing was completed on April 15 in the court and the court had reserved its decision. Rajpal has a case of scam of Rs 5 crore for film making. According to the information, a company from Delhi’s Lakshmi Nagar registered a report against Rajpal in Preet Vihar Police Station after the cancellation of 7 checks. Based on the complaint lodged in the police station, Rajpal Yadav borrowed Rs 5 crore from the company for making a film. The film, titled ‘Ata Laxata’, was released in 2012, but Rajpal did not return the money for the loan.
