हिमाचल प्रदेश के मौसम का मिजाज बिगड़ गया है. सोमवार को राजधानी शिमला समेत कई इलाकों में झमाझम बारिश हुई. मौसम ने हिमाचल में रौद्र रूप दिखाया है. बीते 24 घंटे में बारिश ने कई स्थानों पर तबाही मचाही है. सूबे के कांगड़ा जिले में सबसे ज्यादा नकुसान हुआ है. यहां कई घर और गाड़ियां बही हैं. प्रदेश में सैकड़ों सड़कें बंद हैं. जानकारी के अनुसार दोपहर बाद तक लेह-मनाली हाइवे, औट-लूहरी-रामपुर हाइवे बंद हो गए. शिमला-किन्नौर हाइवे शिमला जिले के रामपुर के समीप झाकड़ी में भू-स्खलन के चलते काफी समय तक बंद रहा.

मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र शिमला के अनुसार, हिमाचल में तीन दिन के लिए ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया गया है. 14 जुलाई के बाद 17 जुलाई तक ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया गया. राजधानी शिमला में रविवार रात को काफी बारिश हुई और सोमवार सुबह से लेकर दोपहर बाद तक बारिश होती रही. पहाड़ों की रानी धुंध की आगोश में नजर आई.

मौसम के कहर को लेकर सीएम जय राम ठाकुर ने कहा कि कांगड़ा जिले समेत जिन इलाकों में नुकसान हुआ है, उसका आकलन किया जा रहा है. उन्होंने कहा कि राहत की बात है कि जान नुकसान नहीं हुआ है. सीएम ने कहा बरसात को देखते हुए सभी जिलों के एसपी और डीसी को जरूरी दिशा-निर्देश जारी कर दिए गए हैं. जहां रेसक्यू ऑपरेशन की जरूरत पड़ रही है, वहां पर त्वरित कार्रवाई का निर्देश दिया गया है.

मौसम विभाग के अनुसार, हिमाचल में सबसे अधिक बारिश बीते चौबीस घंटे में कांगड़ा जिले में हुई है. यहां पर पालमपुर में 155 मिलीमीटर बारिश हुई है. वहीं, धर्मशाला में 119 एमएम, मनाली में 51 एमएम, कांगड़ा में 64 एमएम, कुल्लू के भुंतर में 51 एमएम, शिमला में 10 एमएम, चंबा के डलहौजी में 48 एमएम बारिश हुई है.
