सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेशों पर हाईकोर्ट ने लिया संज्ञान:पंजाब में सांसद-विधायकों के खिलाफ 163 केस विचाराधीन, हाईकोर्ट ने पूछा- जांच में देरी क्यों
सांसद व विधायकों के खिलाफ कोर्ट में विचाराधीन मामलों पर सोमवार को सुनवाई हुई। पंजाब हाईकोर्ट ने माननीयों के खिलाफ हो रही जांच में देरी का कारण पूछा। पंजाब के आईजीपी लिटिगेशन ब्यूरो ऑफ इन्वेस्टिगेशन अरुण पाल सिंह ने वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए हाईकोर्ट को बताया कि पंजाब में 163 मामले सांसदों व विधायकों के विचाराधीन हैं।
इनमें से कई पूर्व सांसद और विधायक भी शामिल हैं। कई मामले ट्रायल कोर्ट में और कई केस सीबीआई को ट्रांसफर किए गए हैं। गौर हो सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निर्देशों पर यह संज्ञान लिया है। हाईकोर्ट ने पिछली सुनवाई के दौरान स्पष्ट किया था कि सीबीआई, ईडी और दूसरी जांच एजेंसियों के पास विचाराधीन मामलों की जानकारी दी जाए। पंजाब, हरियाणा व चंडीगढ़ के जज से ऐसी मामलों की तेजी से सुनवाई करें। अब वीरवार को अगली सुनवाई की जाएगी।
सोमवार को चंडीगढ़ मामलों की सुनवाई
सोमवार को चंडीगढ़ एसएसपी कुलदीप चाहल ने हाईकोर्ट को बताया कि सांसद व विधायकों के खिलाफ चंडीगढ़ में 7 केस दर्ज हैं। सभी की जांच जारी है, लिहाजा इनमें से कोई भी मामला कोर्ट नहीं पहुंचा है। बेंच ने इस पर एसएसपी से पूछा कि जांच में देरी का क्या कारण है। एसएसपी ने कहा कि कोविड के चलते देरी हो रही है।

High court takes cognizance of Supreme Court orders: 163 cases pending against MP-MLAs in Punjab, High Court asked- why delay in investigation
The cases under consideration in the court against MPs and MLAs were heard on Monday. The Punjab High Court asked for the reason for the delay in the investigation being conducted against the Hon. Punjab IGP Litigation Bureau of Investigation Arun Pal Singh told the High Court through video conferencing that 163 cases in Punjab are under consideration of MPs and MLAs.
Many of these former MPs and MLAs are also involved. Many cases have been transferred to the trial court and many cases have been transferred to the CBI. Be aware that this cognizance has been taken on the directions of the Supreme Court. During the last hearing, the High Court had clarified that the cases under consideration should be reported to the CBI, ED and other investigative agencies. Hear such cases expeditiously from the judges of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. Now next hearing will be held on Thursday.
Chandigarh case hearing on Monday
On Monday, Chandigarh SSP Kuldeep Chahal told the High Court that there are 7 cases registered in Chandigarh against MPs and MLAs. Investigation of all is going on, so none of these cases have reached the court. The bench asked the SSP what was the reason for the delay in investigation. The SSP said that there is a delay due to Kovid.
